For over 45 years, Central has proudly nurtured happy and healthy homes by bringing innovative and trusted solutions to its consumers and customers. Central is home to a leading portfolio of more than 60 high-quality brands, including Amdro®, Aqueon®, Cadet®, C&S®, Farnam®, Ferry-Morse®, Four Paws®, Kaytee®, Nylabone®, and Pennington®, as well as strong manufacturing and distribution capabilities and a passionate, entrepreneurial growth culture. Central is based in Walnut Creek, California, with over 6,000 employees, primarily across North America.

Our journey begins when Central Garden Supply is founded by Bill Brown
1992

Central Garden & Pet Company is incorporated; Central Garden Supply is merged into the new entity
1993

1993

Central Garden & Pet goes public on the NASDAQ stock exchange
1997

Central acquires Four Paws, TFH Publications, Nylabone, and Kaytee Products, as well as Wellmark to form Central Life Sciences

Central acquires Pennington Seed

Central acquires Farnam, including Healthcare of horses, household pets, and livestock
